Affiliate Marketing Strategies - Creating Content That Attracts Profits! PDF Print E-mail
Written by Max Artemus

Affiliate marketing in theory is very easy to do, but in reality it's a bit harder than most people let on to be.

Here's why...

Most people think that affiliate marketing is about selling products. The reality that many people have a hard time adjusting to is that as an affiliate...

You don't have to sell anything!

So if you don't have to sell anything, how do you get people to buy stuff?

All the selling happens when your visitors or subscribers click on your affiliate link and not before.

You see, in actuality what your selling is a reason to click on your affiliate link. Not the actual product itself.
Most people create content full of hype and try to hardsell their visitors or subscribers on the product and when that person clicks on your link, they are taken to a straight sales pitch and don't buy.

The most profitable content that you can generate is content that educates and presells your visitors and subscribers on why it's in their best interest to click your affiliate link.

Along with educating your potential buyers, sharing your personal experience with the product and perhaps showing real results in terms of money made and time invested can be all your prospect needs to make a buying decision.

However it's important to avoid 'hype' as much as you can, because the majority of amateurs on the net are using it to try and sell and it just doesn't work.

Even if you were able to move a prospect into a buying decision using hype, if the product doesn't live up to the claims, your prospects will getting a refund and there goes your reputation along with your future recommendations.  Max Artemus
